The client wanted to transform their existing kitchen into a functional, elegant, and timeless space that blended classic style with practicality. They loved the idea of a two-tone colour scheme to add depth and character while maintaining a light, inviting feel throughout the room.
Design approach
To achieve the ideal layout, we began by relocating the back door, allowing us to create a true U-shaped configuration that maximised every inch of available space. This redesign improved both flow and functionality.
The kitchen was finished in a sophisticated two-tone palette of Kombu Green and Pebble, striking the perfect balance between warmth and contrast. These tones complement each other, bringing richness and depth.
A chimney deconstruction allowed for a clean, open wall that now houses an induction hob on the peninsular, making it the focal point of the space. To complete the contemporary touch, a ceiling-mounted extraction fan was installed above the peninsular, ensuring a seamless, uncluttered aesthetic while maintaining practicality.

The clever reconfiguration not only transformed how the kitchen looks but also how it works, offering a smooth, natural flow and a sense of openness.
